I am a Computational Biologist | Bioinformatic Scientist, at the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB) within the Centre for Research & Technology, Hellas (CERTH).
I hold an M.Sc. in Translational Research in Biomedicine from the Democritus University of Thrace and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Thessaly. During my Master’s research, I discovered a strong interest in Bioinformatics, seamlessly transitioning from a molecular background to data-driven biology aiming at extracting actionable insights from complex datasets.
Currently, my main focus in on analyzing and visualizing multi-omics NGS data, as well as developing interactive web applications and websites, making data exploration more accessible and user-friendly for biomedical researchers.
